Events

Tap the Add button at the bottom of the list of events to Add a new event or tap the Pencil icon on an existing event.

You can only edit events you create. In future, a member of a school (teacher or staff) will be able to edit events you create on your behalf.

Guidelines for Posting School Events

We are excited to see events posted for your school! To keep things fun and inclusive for everyone, please ensure your events are suitable for groups and not focused on just one child. Posting inappropriate events or events for one child may result in restrictions on your ability to post future events. Let’s work together to create wonderful experiences for your school community!

Title

Enter the title of the event.

School

Select the school associated with the event.

If you want to post to a school that is not in this list you will need to #add-a-school .

Event Type

Select the type of event.

Duration

Select the duration of the event.

Year Levels

Select the year levels for the event.

Whole School Events

If the event is relevant for everyone (e.g., School Gala, Public Holiday), you can select the Whole School Event option. This ensures the event appears for all parents regardless of their selected year levels.

We've set up schools so they show the appropriate year levels. e.g. A primary won't show year levels for a high school

Location

Enter the location of the event. e.g. School Hall

Amount

Enter any amount associated with the event. e.g. $5.00

Description

Enter any other details about the event. You can include a website address, phone number or any other information.

You can attach web links to your event (e.g., Google Maps location, permission slip, ticket purchase page).

  1. Tap Add Link.
  2. Enter the URL (e.g., https://...).
  3. Enter a Name for the link (optional).
  4. Tap Add.

The user can tap on the event in the events list to see the details of the event.
